Capcom had announced last year that Resident Evil: Revelations was going to cost $50, more than your average 3DS game. But some good news, on Friday they confirmed that they were going to drop the price, and will now launch at $40. Capcom said:
“Since the announcement of the $49.99 price point, we’ve spent weeks looking for a way to bring your cost down to standard 3DS pricing. Today we can finally confirm we were successful in this, and hope the reduced price encourages even more people to check out this strong entry in the Resident Evil canon.”
Here are some screenshots of Resident Evil: Revelations. The game is currently out in Japan and Europe, and is scheduled for North America this Thursday 2nd February.
